When you encounter a recurring event in your scheduler, you'll notice a recurring icon associated with it. This icon serves as a visual indicator that the event repeats according to a set schedule.

Making Adjustments to Recurring Events

When you need to make adjustments to a recurring event, the process typically begins by selecting the event for editing. After inputting Once you click save, a prompt that allows you to choose between updating "Only this Event" or "This & Future Events." This decision impacts how changes are applied across your schedule:

  • Only this Event: Choosing this option means that modifications will be applied solely to the specific occurrence of the recurring event you are editing. After selecting this option, the recurring icon transforms into a red arrow with a slash. This visual change serves as a clear indicator that modifications have been made to this particular occurrence.

NOTE: After making changes to a specific occurrence using the "Only this Event" option, any further adjustments made to that same occurrence will affect only that instance. The modal prompting for updates to "this event" or "this & future events" will no longer appear for that occurrence.

  • This & Future Events: Opting for this option ensures that any changes made will affect not only the current occurrence but all future instances of the recurring event as well. It allows for consistent adjustments across your schedule without the need to individually update each occurrence.
