Therabyte's Wallets feature is designed to simplify how you manage payments, pre-payments, and packages for your clients. Whether you're handling gift cards, prepaid services, or specific programs, Wallets help you keep everything organized and efficient.


How Wallets Work

Wallets allow you to accept pre-payments from clients. Once services are delivered and an invoice is created, you can easily apply the funds from the wallet to pay the invoice. It's a convenient way to manage finances, especially when dealing with packages or pre-paid services.


Types of Wallets Available

Therabyte offers three types of Wallets, each tailored to different needs:

  1. General Wallet Card

    • Purpose: For funds not taken via credit card.
    • Uses: This wallet is a versatile container for funds such as gift cards, credit notes, or pre-payments received from clients. It's ideal for situations where you need to store value that isn't tied to a specific contract or program.
  2. Contract Wallet Card

    • Purpose: Perfect for package pricing.
    • Uses: Clients can pre-pay for a set of services. As services are delivered, the pre-paid amount in this wallet is used to pay the corresponding invoices. It’s great for packages where clients pay upfront.
  3. Programs Wallet Card

    • Purpose: Automatically manage funds for specific programs.
    • Uses: This wallet is program-specific. Funds are loaded onto the card for a particular program and client, and they’re automatically allocated as needed. It’s a hands-off approach to managing program-related finances.

Wallet Card Additional Settings

In your clinic settings, navigate to Therabyte Pay to configure your Wallets. If Wallets have been enabled for your clinic, you’ll notice some additional settings available in this section. Specifically, you’ll have the option to:

  • Send Fund Request Reminders to your clients.
  • Choose When to Send Reminders to ensure they receive them at the appropriate time/s.
  • Set a Default Due Date for Fund Requests to streamline the payment process.


These settings help you manage client payments more effectively by automating reminders and ensuring that funds are requested in a timely manner.
