Processing Wallet Refunds
Refunding a client's wallet balance is a simple process that ensures funds are returned to the original payment source and the wallet card balance is adjusted automatically.
Steps to Process a Wallet Refund:
- Go to the client’s profile, click on the Finances tab, and then select Wallet Cards. Choose the wallet card you want to use to process the refund.
- Click the Refund Charges icon on the wallet card.
⏎ ? ⏎ ? - Enter the required details for the refund. Keep in mind that the Stripe refund reason cannot be customized, but you can add a personalized internal reason for your records. Once completed, click Refund.
- The refunded amount will be sent directly back to the original payment source, and the refund will be processed immediately.
- Once the refund is completed, the wallet card balance will be automatically updated. No further manual adjustments are required.
