Important: The diagnoses you add/delete in the diagnosis list will be available as choices in the diagnosis option of your intake form under the client profile block. Clients cannot add diagnoses themselves, so we recommend adding diagnoses based on the clients you serve or your preferences.
Adding a Diagnosis
To add a diagnosis to a client profile, follow these steps:
- Open a Client Profile: You can select any client or create a sample/dummy client for practice.
- Click on the client's name, then navigate to the "Clinical Info" tab.
- Add a Diagnosis:
- Click the "Add" button under the "Diagnosis/Primary Concern(s)" section.
- Click the drop-down arrow
- Then click the "+" button to add a new diagnosis.
- Enter the diagnosis name and an optional description. Click "Save" to add the diagnosis.
- Click the "Add" button under the "Diagnosis/Primary Concern(s)" section.
Editing or Deleting a Diagnosis
To edit or delete an existing diagnosis:
- Open a Client Profile: Click on the client name, then navigate to the "Clinical Info" tab.
- Edit a Diagnosis:
- Click the drop-down arrow under the "Diagnosis" section.
- Click the "Edit" button next to the diagnosis you want to modify.
- Update the diagnosis name and description as needed. Click "Save" to apply the changes.
- Delete a Diagnosis:
- Click the "Delete" button next to the diagnosis you want to remove.
- Click the "Delete" button next to the diagnosis you want to remove.
Removing a Diagnosis from a Client Profile
To remove a diagnosis from a client profile without deleting it from the list:
- Open a Client Profile: Click on the client's profile, then select the "Clinical Info" tab.
- Remove the Diagnosis:
- Click the "X" button next to the diagnosis under the "Diagnosis" section. Click "Save" to save the changes.
- Click the "X" button next to the diagnosis under the "Diagnosis" section. Click "Save" to save the changes.
