This guide will help you check, edit, add, or archive form categories. Categories determine where your forms appear on your landing page.
How to Check a Form’s Current Category
- Open the form you want to check.
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the form.
- Select Settings from the menu.
- In the Form Settings window, look for the Category section.
How to Edit a Form’s Category
- Follow steps 1–3 above to open Form Settings.
- Click the Category dropdown menu.
From the list of categories, find the one you want to edit and click the Edit button next to it.
Update the Category Name or Description as needed.
- Click Save at the bottom of the window to confirm.
How to Add a New Category
- In the Form Settings window, click the Category dropdown menu.
- Click the + (Add New Category) button at the bottom of the dropdown.
- Enter a Category Name and Description (optional).
- Click Save to create the category.
How to Delete an Existing Category
- In the Form Settings window, click the Category dropdown menu.
- Click Edit at the bottom of the dropdown.
- Click Archive next to the category name.
- Confirm the action in the pop-up window.
Important Notes:
- You cannot archive a category if it has forms linked to it.
- To archive, first reassign all forms in that category to another category (use the steps under How to Edit a Form’s Category above).
