Before you set an invoice as paid, make sure that the invoice is already submitted. To learn how to set your invoice as submitted, you may read the other article entitled: Marking Invoice as Submitted
To go to the Invoice History and click a specific client to open the client information modal
Go to Finances tab, scroll down the Finances content and you will find the Invoice History area
Select a specific invoice that has a Submitted status.
In the Invoice Preview Modal, click Pay
Set the payment method, and click Set Payment Method button
Finally, you will receive a notification that the invoice was paid successfully.
You may also click the paid status beside the invoice title in the invoice history list to mark that specific invoice as paid.
