Here is a simple guide on how to display the Funder and Funder Name in your Invoice.

  1. First, we must create a contract or claim for a funder. Here is the article link for Creating contracts and/or claims for a funder.

  1. Our goal here is to explicitly display the name of the Funder (or with the Funder Contact) on your invoice.

  1. To do so, we need to place the Funder's name in the contract's Contract Name field. The invoice's Bill To field displays the Contract Name.

Note: Each contract is unique to the client, even if they are using the same funder.

  1. Given that we have already prepared our Contract, moving forward to the Invoice Editor part. Click the Billing tab from the left menu > Click the Billing Items tab > Choose Uninvoiced tab.

  1. Click the record that will be used for billing invoices.

  1. Click the Add to Invoice button.

  1. The invoice Editor page will now be displayed

  2. Click the Bill To drop-down menu to choose the desired Contract to be displayed.
