Add the client manually (steps below)

Steps to Add a Client in Therabyte
- Navigate to the Client Page
Go to the Client menu from the left sidebar. Click New Client to open the client setup form. - Fill in Client Details
- Enable Online Access & Notifications
A valid email address is required to:
Enable Online Access
Receive Email Notifications
If the client is a minor, grant access to the primary legal guardian.
If the client is an adult, give access directly to the client.
Select the appropriate checkboxes. Click Save and Continue to move forward, or choose Save to return later.
Complete Additional Information
Clinical Info
Add Diagnosis Information
Set appointment preferences (day, time, frequency)
Click Next.
People
Assign a practitioner (auto-assigned to the current user)
Add primary contacts and third-party contacts
Click Next.
Finances
Add contracts and set up invoicing
Link to a funder using Add New in the Contracts section
Click Next.
Files
Add/Upload client files as needed
Click Finish.
4. Finalize Client Onboarding
- A confirmation modal will appear. Click Complete to submit and generate the client’s initial chart note with all entered data.
5. Send Welcome Email
If you haven’t already sent a Welcome Email:
Click Send Email(s) to invite the client (or guardian) to their portal.
The recipient will be able to:
View shared notes
Join Telehealth sessions
Access note attachments
View shared invoices
A notification will confirm that the Welcome Email has been sent.
